A very convenient campground for Death Valley exploring. We were here just before the high season so there were lots of sites available. It might be difficult in the busier season but there is a parking lot style campground across the road with hundreds of sites that will open in peak season. There were a few trees which is rare in Death Valley. There were no amenities but this is why you choose National Parks. Enjoyable stay for two nights.
Great park but many long term residents. Staff very helpful. Does not take reservations. Laundry and washrooms very clean. It is away from The Strip but a short walk will get you to a bus and for $1.75 that will get you to Caesar Palace. The only downside is that it is not a secure campground.
